:That's a plan. I'd like to contribute in editing the sources for the tables, but until those messages I get of "this-message-is-spam" and "data-submitted-too-often" disappear, I'm stuck relying on others to do the contribution. It's going to require some administrator to whitelist my user name or change the filtering of the MediaWiki setup for Sonic Retro. Reply 22:09, 23 November 2019 (EST) - [[User:T.Q._NEW|T.Q.]]

That Simpsons quote

And you wouldn't believe the celebrities who did cameos. Dustin Hoffman, Michael Jackson...of course they didn't use their real names, but you could tell it was them.

— Lisa Simpson, The Simpsons episode 9F03, "The Itchy & Scratchy Movie"[1]

Jackson had a history of going uncredited (or using pseudonyms) in his productions, often due to the star's contractual complications. Reportedly, Jackson's record label at the time, Epic Records, refused the artist to perform for any of its potential rivals, resorting in Jackson famously appearing under a number of pseudonyms; the most notable example being the 1991 The Simpsons episode Stark Raving Dad, where despite guest-starring as "Michael Jackson", the credit is ultimately given to the fictional "John Jay Smith".[2]

Tables

These tables are getting a bit... chunky. You realise I made a set under "List of music tracks" right? Mine's sortable!

It's better to use the references templates than type out loads of prose about why things come from where. For example, Sonic 3 ending credits need be nothing more than:

ID Usage Musicans Comments
26 Credits Michael Jackson[3] Similar to Jackson's 1996 single, "Stranger in Moscow"[4].

That's a plan. Reply 22:09, 23 November 2019 (EST) - T.Q.
