===Description===

  • System: Sega CD/Mega CD/PC
  • Sonic the Hedgehog CD is the third Sonic game to hit the market. Sonic CD, the only Sonic game to come out for the Sega CD, came out on November 19th, 1993 after the appearance of Sonic 2 for the Megadrive. This was a very unique game of its time, considering that you can travel through time from Present to Past, or from Present to Good/Bad Future, depending on what you do. Metal Sonic and Amy Rose make their debuts in this game, but Amy has a much different style than she does today. Sonic also sports some new moves such as a Super Peel Out and a Spin Dash, which isn't as good as Sonic 2's spindash. Robotnik returns to take over Little Planet, and planet that appears once a year over Never Lake. What's he after this time? The Time Stones of course, so he can travel back in time to control the future of the planet. It's up to Sonic to traverse time and save the many places on Little Planet and stop Robotnik and his evil scheme. However, Robotnik has sent Mecha Sonic, his newest creation, to stop the blue-spined hero.
