Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 Xbox Live Demo) for the Microsoft Xbox 360 is a demo of Sonic the Hedgehog which was once downloadable on Xbox Live. It contains some differences from the final game.

General Differences
- Homing attack gives improved momentum rather than reducing speed. Curviture of attack is also different and goes downward.
- Sonic is a bit easier to handle.
- No voice sound effects.
- Grey Sky in first level.
- Restart system is different.
- Title screen and pause screen refer to the demo, "Play Demo" and "Quit Demo".
