Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a fan game developed by Sonic Team Junior for Windows and DOS platforms. The game is a 3D platformer using the Doom Legacy game engine meant to emulate many of the elements of the classic Sonic series. The reason it is popular among fans is the addition of online multiplayer, as well as the ability to make characters, zones, and whole game modifications.

Storyline
Months after Eggman's defeat in Sonic Robo Blast 1, Dr. Eggman took an interest in harnessing the Black Rock's energy. After claiming it as his own battleship, Eggman chose Greenflower City as his first target for obliteration.
Sonic was enjoying a long overdue vacation when Tails alerted him of the danger. Sonic gazed at the giant battleship aimed toward Greenflower, and had already bolted towards it in a blink of an eye. Even though Sonic rushed to save Greenflower City as quickly as possible, it was already a pile of ashes by the time he arrived. Now, after a quick reunion with the evil doctor, Sonic and Co. journeys off to another quest to save the world from Dr. Eggman.
Playable characters
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is the fastest thing on the planet, and knows his way around mobius like the back of his hand. He is the fastest character in the game, but isn't as good when it comes to controls.
Miles "Tails" Prower
Tails is Sonics best bud, and is very good when it comes to electronics. His flying ability helps him and Sonic out in many situations, but he is much slower than the blue blur.

Hyper Sonic
Hyper Sonic is one of the game's secrets. To get Hyper Sonic, you must have level select, and get all emeralds with everything unlocked.
In CEZ3, go in the middle with the pool. Walk around the corners, and you should fall. There you should find a secret area. Now finish the Level. The guy who lets you access Red Volcano Zone will appear, letting you enter a special stage. This stage is full with jumping crawlers. After making your way through, finish the level, then the game.
Next, go to Level Select and choose GHZ2. You should have all emeralds. Without using cheats, get 50 rings with Sonic and go super. Go to the beginning and look at the first pool to the right. You should see a spring. Get behind it, then spindash to a ledge (the highest one). You should see a house. Go up to the door, and it'll say out to lunch. Then, hover (jump+spin button) and go to a ledge directly above the spring in the beginning. The guy you saw will be having a picnic. Going up to him, he will give you a black emerald. The black emerald lasts for one game only(You'll have to get it back after completing the game or leaving) and the only added power is Sonic's thok (speed thrust) will be a Armageddon shield.
Levels
Greenflower Zone
Greenflower Zone (abbreviated GHZ) is the first zone. It is the only zone to have the 8th emerald, the Master Emerald. Additionally, a player can go to a secret level in Act 1 with either Sonic, Tails or Knuckles.
Techno Hill Zone
Techno Hill Zone (abbreviated THZ) is the second zone in the demo, with Eggman's factory. Water here is replaced with slime, which will damage the players. This zone is the favourite of most players, as it's an excellent Race stage.
Castle Eggman Zone (demo exclusive)
Castle Eggman Zone (abbreviated CEZ) is the final zone in the demo. While expressed as being a demo exclusive, it will be completely redone in the final game, 1.1. It has the player in Act 1 to find a switch to go in Eggman's castle, then in Act 2 the player is inside the castle itself. To get Hyper Sonic, go here with all emeralds and don't modify the game.
