#rsn is unique from other channels within the sonic community because unlike the others which run on networks using UnrealIRCD, SonicIRC uses NefariousIRCu, which lacks common features in channels like owner status, this is provided by the IRC Services.
 
 
[http://www.afternet.org AfterNET] does not use the Unreal IRCD, so those used to that particular IRC Server Daemon maybe in for a bit of a surprise. This shouldn't be a big change from the norm though, as it supports the normal list of IRC modes.

#rsn is the offical channel of RandomSonicNet and is run by Voice. The channel is hosted on SonicIRC. #rsn remains a rather inactive channel but is around for people wishing to discuss anything related to RandomSonicNet, this channel may become more active as RSN2.0 comes closer to completion.
