Dust Hill Zone can be refered to as two things:

  • Early Mystic Cave Prototype
  • Desert Concept Art

The "general view" of Dust Hill would describe a desert area hot and sandy. This would apply with the concept art as seen here. Although, in technicality, there is no piece of animation discovered as of yet to show that Dust Hill was a playable level. The name Dust Hill Zone was meant for this desert level as confirmed twice by Brenda Ross. However, the level pointer from the known beta released by Simon Wai until the final was set for Mystic Caves Zone.

The concept of this zone was to begin with a desert setting and as the level progresses, the palette changes to a winter setting [ex: from sand to snow; from cactus to christams trees] as described by the zone artist, Brenda Ross. Very little is known about this zone, so details may be missing from this article.
