Christopher Stephen Welch (b. 1983) is an American actor who is known among the Sonic community as the voice actor for Miles "Tails" Prower in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. He took on this role when he was only 10. He was replaced in the Sonic Christmas Blast TV special due to his voice changing as he grew into puberty. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is the only cartoon series that would feature him.
For years he was mistakingly credited as "Christopher Evan Welch" and when that actor died many news sites created stories about his death. This lead to a fact finding mission by SEGAbits which resulted in the real voice actor contacting them with info about his current status.[1]
