Agent Stone is a major human character in the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog (film series). He is a government agent who works directly under Dr. Robotnik as his lackey. Although Dr. Robotnik is not empathetic or respectful towards any human being, including Stone, Stone apparently still holds the Doctor in very high regard. However, Dr. Robotnik apparently does like how Agent Stone prepares his coffee. After being trapped on the mushroom planet in the end of the first film, Dr. Robotnik creates an imaginary lackey based on Agent Stone from a literal piece of stone, illustrating the character's descent into insanity.

Stone is portrayed in the films by Canadian actor Lee Majdoub.

History

Agent Stone was assigned to by the U.S. government to work with Dr. Robotnik. Robotnik made Stone do many menial tasks but Stone did them with a positive attitude. The two were sent to Green Hills, Montana to investigate a mysterious power surge. Soon they discovered it was caused by a blue alien hedgehog named Sonic and went chasing after him to San Francisco. The blue blur later used a ring portal to send Stone's partner to Mushroom Planet. Now alone, and out of the Government, Stone took over a coffee shop with the help of Dr. Robotnik's drones.

Stone was happy to see Dr. Robotnik later return with a new friend Knuckles the Echidna. As Robotnik and Knuckles worked together to steal the Master Emerald, Stone stayed in the Mean Bean coffee shop to design a new outfit for the doctor. While working, Wade Whipple busted into the Mean Bean and tied Stone to a chair. Later, Robotnik returned powered by the Master Emerald's energy to Stone and Wade's surprise. Robotnik used his new powers to build a [Giant Eggman Robot|Death Egg Robot] which Stone helped operate. However, Sonic, Miles "Tails" Prower and Knuckles defeated Stone and Robotnik. The doctor went missing after the battle and Stone went undercover to investigate as a G.U.N. agent. At the wreckage of the Giant Eggman Robot, he overheard a conversation discussing Project Shadow.
