Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2

When Sonic 2 was locked on to Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic was replaced in Sonic 2 by Knuckles.

With Knuckles's lower jump height, this makes it tough for him to defeat the boss in Metropolis Zone Act 3, as well as the final boss in Death Egg Zone.
