Coastal Valley is a hack of Emerald Hill Zone for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Knuckles in Sonic 2. It was the second full-scale level hack for a Sonic game to be completed, and it was released on November 11, 2000. However, it was the first such effort to be started, with initial incomplete versions being released before the Hidden Palace level hack done by SSNTails.
