Volcanic Vault is the first level in SegaSonic the Hedgehog. Sonic, Mighty, and Ray are dropped here after being blasted from the Prison Tower. Molten hot rocks rain from the sky to send our heroes to a fiery grave and lava geysers erupt beneath their feet to make our heroes extra-crispy. This level also has the honor of being the first non-Tropical Island-themed level at the beginning of a Sonic game.
