In order to contribute to Sonic Retro, everyone must register. This is to limit the number of harmful or unhelpful edits to articles. This should not deter anyone from contributing, however.

There are two main benefits registration is encouraged:

  • An account gives editing privileges and allows a user to set preferences. One handy feature is the watchlist, which makes it easier for a user to track changes to pages they are interested in.
