flamewing's Sonic 2 Special Stage Editor in action
“ | I have been bitching about this for a DECADE. You have made my dreams. |

Features
This Sonic 2 Special Stage Editor allows the user to edit:
- the object placement (rings, bombs)
- how the special stage twists and turns (within Sonic 2 engine constraints)
- how long each special stage is
- how many special stages there are in the files
It does not allow to edit:
- background
- palette
- ring requirements
Which should still be edited by hand in a disassembly. Likewise, if the user wants to have more than 7 special stages, modifications of the disassembly are required in order to get the new stages from the eighth onwards to work.
