Sonic: King of the Ring is the second single released from the album Sonic the Hedgehog by CNR Music, a subsidiary of Arcade Records. Unlike the previous single "They Call Me Sonic," only one of the four tracks comes from the album, the rest being alternate mixes exclusive to this release. Among these tracks are "Hey, Hier Kommt Sonic," a German version of "They Call Me Sonic" that translates directly to "Hey, Here Comes Sonic."
