| − | Ok, right. Yes, I know Rad Racer is Sonic's technical "first appearance" as in he made the smallest cameo in the game. But I feel it's disingenuous to actually write that as his "first appearance" in the info box. It's still mentioned very prominently in the article that his first technical appearance is in the game (if you go down to the Miscellaneous section it's there) but...he isn't part of anything except as an ornament. It's not even like Tails, where he was made for the 16-bit version of Sonic 2 but then used prominently in Sonic 2 8-bit, and thus is always listed as first appearing in the latter title.

The "Sonic News Network" does the exact same thing. If we want to split hairs, we could list both...but if only one is listed, it should be the first Sonic game. Not a game where Sonic was an air freshener that no one paid attention to until way after the fact.

Lots and LOTS of irellivant information
For example Sonic's 'personality' describes Sonic's powers and in-universe history more than it does his personality, and I feel the sections regarding the different in-universes such as cartoons or comics should contain mainly informatino about Sonic's personality/portrayal within those media. I propose this article should change amjorly in order to describe less plot and more of Sonic personality.
