<forumuser name="SilverstepP" /> At first, SilverstepP was known in this forum as Silvercpb, and got stuck on Pending Approval due to being quite stubborn during his trial period. Only a short while after, he decided to look into trying to make a Sonic 1 hack since this forum wouldn't accept him, but unfortunately it didn't turn out as well as he'd thought it would. Although he couldn't hack to save his life, he decided to take another approach: Open Sonic.

At the time he joined, Open Sonic was only at its second release. He joined the forum, but let the project grow for about a year before making any contributions. He tried to improve his skills of being a good member of a forum, and applied for the position of forum moderator and succeeded. He is attempting to learn a bit of programming through Open Sonic while keeping the forum clean.

Now, SilverstepP has made a return here, to try and become better to this forum as well. He also intends to keep Sonic Retro updated about Open Sonic, since Sonic Retro had missed the third release of Open Sonic, which was a while ago. Version 0.1.4, according to Alexandre, is to be released sometime this summer.

SilverstepP hopes that this will help the Open Sonic forum grow a bit and also attract a few programmers who could help with the project. If there's anyone who'd be willing to help, just visit the Open Sonic forum, and he'll guide you from there.

SilverstepP is glad to have a second chance at this forum, and he will not waste it.
