Issues with imprecise sales numbers
I've been working on a sales data section for Sonic Frontiers using this template (I wanted to finish it completely before actually adding it), but I noticed that the cumulative data column displays an error if any characters other than numbers and commas are in the "main" data column. Since every proclamation of Frontiers' sales from Sega says it sold "over X amount of copies" instead of giving a precise number, this poses something of a problem. It's not insurmountable - my planned workaround is to simply use the given numbers and put a note at the top of the section explaining the discrepancy - but I think it may be a recurring issue with other games that also don't have precise sales data available (i.e. Sonic Mania or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I). --Splashdown (talk) 06:53, 9 November 2023 (EST)
