Sonic the Hedgehog Mad Libs is a paperback book for 8-12 year olds. It is a phrasal template word game where the reader can fill in the blanks with words.
Like many other books published by Mad Libs, each page contains a short story with many blank spaces where key words should go, with specified categories displayed below each blank space, such as "noun", "verb", "place" or "part of the body". One person asks the other, in turn, to contribute some word to the specified type of each blank without revealling the context for this word. When the story is completed, it is read aloud. The results are usually comic, surreal and somewhat nonsensical.
