Oldbie is a legacy group on the Sonic Retro forums reserved for individuals who have been a part of the Sonic Internet community for an arbitrarily amount of time.
The general criteria for those in the group require one having been part of the "Sonic Scene" prior to the relaunch of Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta Page on January 11th, 2003. Some exceptions were made for those who registered on the forums during the first three months of its existence.
Being a legacy group, there are no plans to expand the requirements one would need to become an Oldbie.
