Tidal Tempest is the third level in Sonic CD. This level takes place in flooded underwater ruins. It resembles Labyrinth Zone to a great extent, including the aquatic theme of the zone. Most of this level takes place underwater, so be on the lookout for oxygen bubbles!

Keep Sonic's lungs filled with air as he explores the under-water regions of Little Planet.

| This time zone hasn't been touched upon as much by Robotnik. Large pipes transfer water from different areas of this zone, and secrets lie around in the walls. | Primitive caves and early plant life litter around, and fish are plentiful in the water. The Water seems to be filled with seascum or something. Keep an eye out for that Roboticizer, too, or... | ... Eggman will succeed in conquering this zone, too. In what appears to be a large structure, everything has been completely trashed. Rusty ledges, Broken pipes, dead plants, this place hasn't been taken care of for a long time! | If you happen to stop such a devastating event from happening, you'll get this instead. This world is much different, like a giant aquarium, with plants in glass cases and such. Plus the water looks clean, too. |
