A horizontal pole that is grabbed onto when Sonic is being pushed upwards by fans. Jump while being pushed upwards and it will break, similarly to the horizontal ones also found in this Zone.

Eggman's Screw Mobile doesn't move downwards to create a vortex, instead playing how Knuckles fights the boss in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. It does, however, create problems by overwriting the water graphics.
