- 2002 — Issue #107 of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series by Archie Comics is released in North America.
- 2007 — Sonic and the Secret Rings is released for the Wii alongside Sonic and the Secret Rings: Prima Official Game Guide, a strategy guide for the game, in North America.
- 2013 — Issue #49 of Sonic Universe, Issue #2 of Sonic Super Digest, and Volume 20 of the trade paperback series Sonic the Hedgehog Archives is released in North America.
- 2015 — The Sonic the Hedgehog amiibo is released in Europe.
- 2020 — Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is released for the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe. Sonic the Hedgehog Non-Stop Music Selection Vol.1, an album, is made available digitally on streaming services in Japan. The first episode of Sonic Station Live! premiers on the official Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel.
