Sonic Jam was was a compilation of the 4 popular Sonic games Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Sonic & Knuckles from the Mega Drive/Genesis era re-released on the Sega Saturn, along with 3 extra games: Blue Sphere, Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Each game is complete with Japanese and English manuals. Difficulty settings for each game is Easy, Normal and Original.
Easy - 1 act per level, easy special stages, added sprites to help make gameplay easier.
Normal - All acts added, slightly easy special stages.
Original - Original Mega Drive/Genesis format, no added extras.
In Sonic the Hedgehog, the spindash ability is available, but if you wish to remove it then theres an option to switch it On and Off in Sonic 1's Menu.
