Sonic Collision Viewer is a program by ErikJS that shows 16x16 collision block mappings. The program uses a chart which represents a 16x16 block using the currently selected collision box. The yellow part is solid; the grey isn't. The location of the collision box and its 16 bytes are also shown. SCV supports Sonic 1 (JUE and Rev01), Sonic 2 Beta, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and CD Sonic the Hedgehog build 510.
You can save the current collision box as a bitmap image (48KB,128x128,24b). Just press F5 or double-click the chart.
Key Summary
- F5: saves BMP picture of collision box
- F6: changes language
- F7: shows information about Windows default language
- Numpad+/-: go to next/previous collision box
