Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog is a hack released on Sept. 1, 2005, by Stealth that was the first successful implementation of Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis). Gliding, climbing and spindash moves are all fully functional. The hack is considered by many to be the "holy grail" of Sonic 1 hacking.
