Shadowsoft Games is a small amateur games team headed by Ultima and JohnnyUK. The team had previously included a variety of members who were mainly focused on producing quality Sonic hacks - at one point, many of the scene's prominent hackers were affiliated in some way with Shadowsoft Games. The group ceased Sonic-related activities in November 2005 in order to concentrate on the development of original games, though many members and former members continue to be involved in the scene.
