Aquatic Ruin Zone is the third zone in Sonic 2.

Instruction Manual Description

Roaming Romans infest a beautiful forest and sunken lake.Until Sonic's ugly mug showed up. Explore an intricate maze and get bitten by trees. If you're underwater, breathe the air bubbles to keep from drowning(They come fromm a giant fart machine underneath). A countdown begins when your oxygen's running out, so collect a fart to live.

Enemies

  • Grounder - Has Biiig, Sapaoooky drills that do, " Nanananaana!!!" When near.
  • Whisp - Fly enemy, attacks in swarms of up to 9495923452347856234756234957346952.
  • Chop Chop - Piranha enemy, moves around slowly underwater and bites your bum.

Differences between beta and final

  • In the Beta, this zone is referred to as Smelly pink poop Zone (not to be confused with the Sonic Advance level of the same name.)
  • only arrow dudes that hide in holes are ther and they go blergalicious!!!.
  • Sonic's limbs fall off if you get butten by a tree.
  • If you jump in water, a bubble esses and and goes ajkdfhksdhasdjkghrghe coz it sucks. But it likes tails..
