Lyrics
Wonderman
Wonderman
There he is... havin' a blast,
There he is... hogging the limelight,
There he is... a blue rint that works,
He's number one, he's el supremo,
Attitude and power sneakers,
At-attitude and power sneakers,
To be that good just ain't that easy
Wonderman, Wonderman,
He is a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman,
Ahh he's a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman, Wonderman
All us feeling, left to wonder,
Is it lightning? Is it thunder?
There he is ... hip to the script,
There he is ... suited and booted,
There he is ... like Fay Wray's King Kong,
So fast it hurts you'll get a slap,
If you take a nap he'll spin attack,
Take-take a nap and he'll spin attack,
To be that good just ain't that easy
Wonderman, Wonderman,
He is a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman,
Ahh he's a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman, Wonderman
All us feeling, left to wonder,
Is it lightning? Is it thunder?
Wonderman, Wonderman,
He is a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman,
Ahh he's a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman, Wonderman
All us feeling, left to wonder,
Is it lightning? Is it thunder?
There he is ... state of the art,
There he is ... Speedy Gonzalez,
There he is ... Z-z-zoom Sonic Boom,
A slammin' door at 3 am,
An itch you scratch again and again,
Again and again again and again,
An itch you scratch again and again
Wonderman, Wonderman,
He is a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman,
Ahh he's a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman, Wonderman
All us feeling, left to wonder,
Is it lightning? Is it thunder?
Wonderman, Wonderman,
He is a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman,
Ahh he's a Mister Wonderman,
Wonderman, Wonderman
Music Video
The music video begins with a framing device poking fun at Right Said Fred's brief success in the 90's, interrupted by Steve O'Donnell (from the UK "Pirate TV" SEGA advertisements) who points out everyone really wants to see Sonic the Hedgehog interviewed, not these two fellows. The rest of the video mainly takes place in the "Hydrocity Zone," though it does not resemble the look of the in-game level. Footage of the group is interspersed with footage from Sonic 3, and ends with a woman commenting that the blue star is "just a flippin' hedgehog, ok?"

- The version of "Wonderman" that was released on Right Said Fred's 1993 album Sex and Travel was completely different from the single that came out a year later. With alternate instrumentation and lyrics, the entire song was reworked to tie into the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
