Sonic Drift has gone through several changes over its development process. There are several rejected ideas, level designs, and other things that were left on the cutting room floor. The following details several of these things.
Early Game Design
Green Hill
Image from a japanese catalogue. It looks to be a mockup. There is checkered patterns on the side of the road and totem poles are in the place of palm trees.There is also a Flicky instead of Amy.
The HUD has no info on it. The background is also different. The icons on the map are larger also.
Same differences as the previous image.
Same track as the last ones but further developed. HUD is a bit diffferent. The background is slightly off center.
