Super Mecha Sonic is achieved when Mecha Sonic you have defeated Mecha Sonic in his normal form and then Mecha Sonic jumps onto the Master Emerald, it is the super form of the Sonic 3 Sub-Boss, Mecha Sonic. Super Mecha Sonic appears in the Knuckles' boss battle in Sky Sanctuary Zone. It requires you to hit Mecha Sonic, when in the normal form, 8 times to defeat this sub-boss.
