Yeah there's 900+ files totaling several gigabytes, Archive.org has super slow download speeds and because we're dealing with high resolution images, it takes, like, 10 minutes for this machine to compress each PNG (and we totally want to do this - there are big space savings to be made). PNGGauntlet is multi-threaded of course so it wouldn't take 6.25 days, but it's still many hours. And I don't know exactly what I'm looking at because I don't own the game.

Ideally this needs handling by someone with more patience, time to spare, and a better rig. If you have the game on PC it might be quicker to rip these yourself than wait for the download.

I guess the idea will be to have a full set of untouched versions on this page, then upload cropped versions to replace whatever needs replacing on this wiki. The Harmony art is crap, and while the cover scans in this collection are higher resolution than ours, they've got details blacked out so they're less useful. -[[User:Black Squirrel|Black Squirrel]] ([[User talk:Black Squirrel|talk]]) 17:48, 23 June 2022 (EDT)

Yeah there's 900+ files totaling several gigabytes, Archive.org has super slow download speeds and because we're dealing with high resolution images, it takes, like, 10 minutes for this machine to compress each PNG (and we totally want to do this - there are big space savings to be made). PNGGauntlet is multi-threaded of course so it wouldn't take 6.25 days, but it's still double digit hours at full throttle. And I don't know exactly what I'm looking at because I don't own the game.

Ideally this needs handling by someone with more patience, time to spare, and a better rig. If you have the game on PC it might be quicker to rip these yourself than wait for the download.
