The Egg Fighter Spring is essentially a harmless Egg Fighter with a spring attached to a shield. Under most circumstances, depending on the angle of attack, using the Homing Attack on this enemy results in being sprung up into the air a great distance. To avoid such, use a Homing Attack from the back, or try sliding into this enemy to avoid being sprung up. Or just simply dodge it and keep on running.
