Bowser (Koopa in Japanese) is the king of the Koopas the main enemy of Mario. He has kidnapped Princess Peach many times in the past in order to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. But his plans are always thwarted by the Italian plumber. He is known to have at least eight children, his youngest being Bowser Jr..
Bowser is a playable character both in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. He is in the Power class and is the largest character in the game. Bowser is also one of the main villains in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Bowser's current voice actor is Kenny James. In the Super Mario Bros. film, he is portrayed by Dennis Hopper.
