Sonic no Space Tours

"ソニックのスペースツアーズ" translates to "Sonic no Space Tours". While you could say "this obviously means Sonic's Space Tours", the idea is to use what it's actually called as a page name, as opposed to what we think it should be called. The former is printed on the cabinet and referenced in-game, the latter is not.

Incidentally that 1999 game is totally different and needs its own page -Black Squirrel (talk) 16:04, 6 December 2018 (EST)

It translates to "Sonic's Space Tours." Hiragana and possessives are not meant to be represented in Romaji in a translated title.「ソニック」is the subject and「の」indicates the following belongs to Sonic, as in, "Sonic's Space Tours." Of course the translation is not present in the game, because it's in Japanese and hasn't been translated. As a translated title, there is no other interpretation that exists, so your changes are pedantic in addition to incorrect. The title of the article might as well be "ソニックのスペースツアーズ". It is being reverted back. -Katzu Niku (talk) 17:49, 6 December 2018 (EST)

The usual Sega Retro standard is to convert Japanese directly to romaji with no interpretation (with the exception of English-to-katakana words, which are converted back to English). I don't see why "の" should be treated differently, as it's a Japanese word like any other. - Hivebrain (talk) 18:39, 6 December 2018 (EST)
I can see your point from that perspective. As a Japanese-only release, I see the logic in maintaining the transliterated title. (Assuming that is the reason, as it wasn't explicitly stated in the original reason for the first redirect.) Nonetheless, point taken. - Katzu Niku (talk) 19:32, 6 December 2018 (EST)
