Quozl was the founder of the newsgroup alt.fan.sonic-hedgehog. The official announcement for the group was posted on March 6, 1995, to both the newsgroup and the Sonic Mailing List. Quozl explained that AFSH was “a newsgroup for discussing *all* aspects of Sonic the Hedgehog, the two TV series, the comics, the videogames, merchandise, and any other general Sonic-related chatter & such.” [1]

According to the Google usenet archive, Quozl’s last post to the alt.fan.sonic-hedgehog newsgroup was on September 23, 1996. His current whereabouts are unknown.
