History
Area 51 & Area 52
x64 came on the scene during the Sonic the Hedgehog Area 51 days.  After Jan Abaza left LOst in charge of Area 51, LOst's administrative actions started becoming increasingly more questionable and x64 cloned the board and created Sonic the Hedgehog Area 52, along with Rattleman, which attained about a third of the users of the original site.

At one point there was a strong consensus that the Area 51 board, now run amok by LOst, needed to be shut down.  There were efforts made by PACHUKA and several others to do this on the grounds of copyright infringement and computer hacking assertions, but ezBoard didn't take any of the requests seriously.  One night, x64 started at post 1 and worked his way up, cataloging a 21 page list of all posts and user profiles that contained copyright-infringing pictures, sound files, links to patches, roms, etc.  The report was categorized into copyright infringing images, potential trade secret information, reverse engineering, hacking, and external links to infringing material sections.  The next day, Area 51's message board was gone due to "terms of service violation."

Following this incident, x64 left the Sonic community due to his lack of interest in any Sonic game other than the first four and the increasing hype over newer Sonic games that did not appeal to him.

Outside the Sonic Community
x64 became more well known in the IRC scene as first Dot Sokol and then later Olene Q'Dell, both female personas infamous for their nerdy-sex-appeal and cybersex with several* male (and female) IRC chatters.

(* definition of several = several thousand).

As a female, x64 would tend to inhabit an IRC community led by a male, seduce him, take over the community and cause inane amounts of drama for the purpose of lulz.  While a lot of the things he did were more or less trolling, he would nonetheless have serious discussions and make several serious contributions, under the identity of Dot or Olene, and later Alexis, including several object oriented IRC server implementations, humorous flash animations, and several homebrew IRC community attempts with bizarre rules.  (An example would be Nixnet, a collaboration with RipDisk where the network had no IRC operators and all users had channel ops in all channels.)

#lemonade
x64 joined #lemonade in 2005 as Olene, and quickly made several enemies, while also making several intimite aquaintances.  David The Lurker, among other patrons, were essentially seduced into long sequences of cybersexual events, sometimes with multiple participants involved in secret channels on Espernet.  He also failed at seducing Cinossu, but instead became friends with him, a friendship that lasts to this day.

After being banned because some british 12 year old got upset, he returned 6 months later with a new persona, alexis.

Alexis vs. Olene
At first alexis claimed that she was not olene, and occasionally brought in credible people in the various scenes to back up this "fact".  Eventually she admitted that she knew Olene, and later that she shared the same computer with her.  As time went on, the line between Olene and Alexis blurred and the story then changed to that she had been one of several people portraying Olene.  The last claim was that alexis had portrayed olene and that they were all behind the mastermind of alexis.

The Sonic 2 Beta Page
After #lemonade exiled alexis (again), she followed some members of the channel to The Sonic 2 Beta Page, where she ironically entered a war zone; literally one day prior, Qjimbo had taken over the community, posing as Tweaker and removing him in an event that would later be called The March 25th coup.  This event struck an interesting chord in x64's mind.

Qjimbo and alexis became friends rather quickly, and he appointed her as network administrator (more specifically, he gave her his o-line password, and she then added herown oper account).  At this time she was working on Scarlet, an object oriented-based IRC server that was modular and could run on any operating system and integrate with any type of data set.

Sazpaimon, who ran the S2Beta IRC server, allowed alexis to attempt to integrate the IRC network into the S2Beta forums.  Qjimbo, who had just forked the database to start Glowing Bridge, also wanted her to do the same with his forum and network.  Alexis chose S2Beta since it was bigger, and successfully integrated the network and forum to the point where users would authenticate their nicknames using their forum password, and their post count, forum title, and other information would show up as several lines in their /whois reply.  In addition, users and channels could subscribe via a set of user and channel modes to server notices informing them of any updates, edits, or new threads or users on the forum.

Sonic Retro
Roughly 2 years after finding S2Beta, Tweaker had invited alexis back to the community after an AIM conversation in which he partially uncovered the connection between alexis and x64, but alexis had told him that she had used x64's account as she had been banned from Area 51.  Tweaker promptly showered alexis with oldbie status.

#Stuff
In December, 2008, a few members of Sonic Retro that had been banned at the same time (includin alexis, Shade, and HarroSIN) for trolling via a concept known as Taco Island Zone, began talking (or in alexis's case, listening) on skype and getting involved with other fun such as prank calls to businesses, humorous flash animations, and bizarre picture memes.  This community was named #Stuff (pronounced "pound stuff") after the name of the channel that was used for IRC on the packetsense.net network.

Return of x64
On March 9, 2009, x64 decided he had gone as far as he could go with the alexis persona s it was severely limiting his ability to lead the #stuff community.  As alexis, he was not able to talk on skype nor would he be able to physically meet any of the community members.  A one-page note was posted on the front page of #stuff that explained that alexis was really x64 (whom most people had not heard of in over 8 years at that point).

The original note explaining the situation seemed to err more on the side of it being an accident than something that x64 actually enjoyed.  Another depiction of what happened is described by him here:

x64 is very special because x64 is a concatenation of two very different people that I, for the first time, was able to 'merge' together. I started hanging out with the Sonic community in 2000 as x64, and after some initial drama I left. I again encountered the sonic community in 2006 as Alexis, and again left after some initial drama. In 2008, alexis was apprached and asked to come back, and I did, but I really felt that x64 would have been a better person to experience the sonic community through. In March of this year, Shade fell in love with alexis and I didn't have the heart to ditch him or to lead him on any farther, which is generally what happens when people fall in love with my female personas. Obviously my female personas can't leave the internet and thus they hit a brick wall when people fall in love with them. On March 9, 2009 at 4:30 AM, I merged two people into one and you are looking at the result.

Spilling of the topics
On July 10, 2009, x64 had used access he had gotten from Tweaker to log into the administrative control panel of Sonic Retro and became engaged in a settings war with Tweaker, ending with him deleting the forum objects for all but one of the forum containers, causing all threads to fall into the only remaining forum.  Halfway into the fight, Tweaker (believing that x64 was using Tweaker's account) de-adminned himself only to find that x64 was using his own account which he had given himself admin status to several days earlier (which was not visible because it was added as a secondary group).

Once Tweaker realized what was occuring, he took the board offline with the cryptic message "WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN", where it stayed for several hours while x64, Tweaker, and Scarred Sun attempted to figure out how to get the topics back in the proper forums.  x64 had made two backups of the database (one several days earlier, and one just before the incident) but because of the size of the database, the IPS driver had failed halfway through the backups making them both close to useless.  This was a fact that x64 did not discover until he had tried to restore the backup immediately after the incident.  When x64 was unable to restore his backups, he called Scarred Sun, to which she replied that Sazpaimon (the site's host) had backups (which he had not been).  On top of that, the automatic backup component that was installed was not enabled.

x64 spent a few hours attempting to find ways to proammatically restore the heiarchy of the board, but since this information is only stored in one location (the forum_id column of the ibf_topics table) and this information had been dynamically changed as the forums were removed, there was no choice but to manually move the topics back into the correct places.

In the moments during trying to repair Sonic Retro, x64 had humorously named the only remaining forum "Everything" with a description of "Ooops!" and created one last post in a newly recreated announcements forum:

So what happened was that I had the topics all out on top of my desk and I accidentally turned on the fan and they all blew around and got mixed together.

x64 had publically apologized for the incident, and Scarred Sun had acknowledged that it was not a malicious attack (even though it was reported as such on certain Sonic scene news websites).  Nevertheless, x64 was banned from Sonic Retro for almost 3 months because of the incident.

x64 created a flash animation about the incident called Qjimbo6 (which acts as a sequel to Qjimbo5).  It can be seen here.  Tweaker and Scarred Sun (along with Qjimbo) contributed their voice talents as they played themselves.

Board cloning and the birth of #stuff forums
In the wake of being banned from retro and having no daily content to read each night, x64 decided that it was time for #stuff to gain a forum.  Early in its inception, Tongara had created a forum on #stuff, but x64 ironically shut it down because he did not want #stuff to be a direct competitor to Sonic Retro, where most of the users had come from.

In a move remarkably similar to the The March 25th coup, x64 took a copy of the board (an actually intact backup that he had been given by Scarred Sun prior to being banned (Here, take this snapshot just in case..), yet was made after the heiarchy was lost) and hosted it at www.sonic-retro.org (compare with Qjimbo's s2beta.org fork of s2beta.com).  The site originally still had all of Retro's components including the skin with a slightly modified logo (with a hyphen spray-painted in between "sonic" and "retro").

The forum soon (within a day or so) got it's own skin and logo and proudly lives at www.poundstuff.net/forums.  All topics and posts from Sonic Retro have been removed, and most accounts (with the exception of the active ones) have also been removed. Parts of the original Scarlet code have been resurected and updated (and updated (and updated)) to provide real time notifications for forum events (new posts, topics, edits, users, moderations, administrative actions, etc) to the IRC channel.

Password Hash Scandal
Upon being told by Tweaker that a number of people on Retro had 'sonic' as a password, x64 decided to execute a SQL query to see how many people (and which ones) had 3 simple passwords, 'sonic', 'password', and '123456'.  Upon learning that an insane amount of retro users had these passwords, he revealed what he had been working on with the public who (thanks to Tristan Oliveoil) believed that x64 was attempting to "phish" passwords or otherwise crack the passwords of people on #stuff.  x64 eventually decided to run the entire retro database through a rainbow table, to which he found that over 100 people had the password 'shadow'.

These efforts contributed to Sonic Retro in the form of Tweaker sending a mass email advising users to change their passwords to more complex ones (in a dual effort to both secure the accounts and keep x64 out of them).

Flash Animation
One of x64's hobbies is creating short humorous flash animations (as olene/alexis).  The animations he created as Olene can be found at the chowned mirror site.  x64 has also created parodies of Qjimbo's Michael Jackson's Sonic 3 presentation, which can be found here. This was well received by many members in the Sonic Retro IRC channel.

The Glowing Bridge
In September, 2009, x64 had acquired the domain glowingbridge.org along with a copy of the glowing bridge's database, and put it back into service at it's original location, with the main glowing bridge site replace with a wordpress detailing the history of the site, authored by x64 and Qjimbo.
