She first joined Sonic Classic (then Sonic 2 BETA) on April 18, 2002, asking about the broken link to the beta ROM image. She continued to post afterwards, behaving like a typical idiot (as she had no idea to behave at the time.) In 2003, she participated in various roleplays and created a sprite comic (called "The Hog Files"), which led to the creation of a sprite comic website called ComiChaos with the help of several others. This website became fairly popular before it disbanded after a database crash at host site Digibase.
After that, Thunder continued her existing sprite comic series before canceling it in favor of making something better.
