<forumuser name="Pinkerton" /> Pinkerton (formerly known as Kas, More Cowbell and Gobbo) is a member of Sonic Retro and an Oldbie of the Sonic scene notorious for his radical change in personality over his stay in the scene. Over the years, he has gone from being regarded with hatred to being regarded as one of the classier members of the scene.

Although a generally infrequent poster, Pinkerton is a frequent presence in the Sonic Retro IRC channel, where he occasionally engages in general conversation with his girlfriend Grace (identified by a change in alias to Kinkerton). Pinkerton is also an administrator of 99chan, otherwise known as the internet's other asshole.

History

Pinkerton joined the Sonic Community sometime in 2002 via the pre-SCARZ Sonic CulT Forums under the alias Gobbo. He then proceeded to fag the place up in various ways including but not limited to:

  • Being retarded in IRC
  • Ban evading in IRC
  • Being incoherent in forum posts
  • BEING INCOHERENT IN FORUM POSTS

As a result of this faggotry, Gobbo was dealt enough hatred from the community to leave. He was later entered into Wyvernlord's Gallery of Dumbasses.

Fevered Prescriptions and Return to the Scene

Sometime in 2006, Gobbo returned to the community as More Cowbell. Generally thought of as the next .hack//zero, he was the target of administrative scorn and was generally disliked by the community. He was again often banned from IRC, and evaded such bans constantly. Later he changed his name in IRC to Kas, truncated from Scarred Sun's suggestion of Kasabian. During the "Kas" period he displayed a certain patheticness likening him to the community's next .hack//zero.

Pinkerton, 99chan and The Future

Sometime in 2008, Kas changed his name both in IRC and on the forums to Pinkerton, got laid or something and became less of an obstinate retard and more normal and has become an accepted member of the community.
