One project is a non-commercial fan game called "Sonic Project", and the other is an untitled project that is planned to have its own copyright and have a commercial release. Progress for both projects is shown below:

Release Dates

Even though it's easier to complete Sonic Project, both projects may be released at the same time. The untitled project does not contain anything related to the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series.
