I, and that is to say Frozen Nitrogen, am a some-time Sonic fanfic author, some-time article-editor, and all the time an over-verbose dictionaryphile suffering from clinical loquacity. If you hate yourself enough to check out my Sonic stories, they can be found in the blue hedgehog's section of the ol' fanfiction.net. My current crimes against literature include:

• Wing Fortress Zone - An adaptation of the last two levels of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Mega Drive. Sonic & Tails pursue Robotnik to his aerial stronghold, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, the good Doctor is disinclined to extend his hospitality!

Spoiler: Sonic wins. Space station goes kablooie.

• Angel Island Zone - The events leading up to Sonic the Hedgehog 3, chiefly from Knuckles and the Doctor's point of view. A tale of friendship and betrayal, of greed and loneliness and power. Or something like that. This is the story of Knuckles' corruption from proud, solitary guardian to lowly pawn in Robotnik's schemes.

Spoiler: Robotnik's really the bad guy. Who would have thought it?

• The Other Guardian - A oneshot adaptation of a single scene from Sonic Rush. Blaze and Cream (and Cheese) are searching for the Sol Emeralds, but their quest is interrupted by the lilac cat’s dimensional counterpart. The situation goes downhill quite rapidly. With people getting set on fire. Oh yes.

Spoiler: Blaze sets Knuckles' dreadlocks alight. He's not best pleased.

• The City In The Image Of Man - Part Shadow the Hedgehog adaptation, part game-blending conspiracy mystery. Drawing elements from as far back as Tails Skypatrol, and all the way up to Sonic Chronicles, this story chiefly follows Amy, Cream, and the Chaotix, struggling to escape from Eggman's Metropolis City as the world is being ravaged by the Black Arms invasion. Oh, yeah - and lots of stuff blows up.
