Have they? I’m fairly sure, from both personal experience and corroborating reports online, that only new content a.k.a. Sonic World and the menus were optimised, whereas the ported games remain uncorrected (albeit with an automagic fix to the speed of ''StH''1’s music).--[[User:Dsrb|Dsrb]] 00:31, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

PAL optimisation – or the lack thereof

“It is especially benficial [sic] to PAL users, as the games have been optimised for 50Hz refresh rates”

Have they? I’m fairly sure, from both personal experience and corroborating reports online, that only new content a.k.a. Sonic World and the menus were optimised, whereas the ported games remain uncorrected (albeit with an automagic fix to the speed of StH1’s music).—Dsrb 00:31, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

By which I mean that, as in the original PAL releases, the only ‘optimisation’ (with the exception of the first game, for the reason noted above) was a correction of the OSTs’ tempos, with nothing having been done to the speed of the action itself.
(A very cynical way of glossing over localisers’ laziness, but it probably worked as, even without fixed music, most players wouldn’t have noticed or had any way of seeing a proper version.)—Dsrb 00:42, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
