Peel Out is a feature first implemented in Sonic the Hedgehog CD, and then used again in Sonic Blast. Holding Up and Jump will charge up a Peel Out, and releasing Up will send you zooming off at high speed to whatever direction you're facing. It is slightly faster than the spin dash but it can be done from a standing postion.
