The Pending Approval system at SWS2B is used to filter out stupidity.
When someone registers at SWS2B, they get 30 trial posts to prove that they are not a n00b or a dumbass. When the 30 trial posts are up, you are placed in a "Pending Approval" usergroup, and Simon may approve you (promotion to full Member) or not, in which case you remain in the Pending Approval group.
