Early concept art of a level select map showing the entire island where Sonic the Hedgehog 2 takes place. It shows early versions of levels featured in the final game as well as some levels that never made it past the conceptual stage of development. This early concept art also illustrates how time travel functioned in Sonic 2 back when time travel was still planned for the game.
