'Cats are domestic carnivorous mammals that belong to the family of Felidae, they are often referred as domestic cats to distinguish them from other cats in the world, they are also known for their ability to hunt rodents, they also are quick on their feet and have shape fangs and retractable claws. they purr when they're happy or relaxed, they meow if they want attention, they growl when they're grumpy, and hiss when they're angry. they also have body language. Cats can be bred as pets, they can also hear stuff at too faint or too high frequency than the human ears. They were first domesticated in Ancient Egypt. As of 2017, they are one of the most popular domestic animals in the US
