- 1971 — Colleen O'Shaughnessey, the English voice of Miles "Tails" Prower since 2014, is born.
- 1990 — Emily Corkery, the original English voice of Charmy Bee, is born.
- 2004 — Sonic Reversi is released for J-Sky (50KB) compatible phones through Sega's Sonic Cafe portal in Japan. Sonic Mega Collection is re-released under the "Player's Choice" banner for the Nintendo GameCube in France.
- 2010 — Sonic Adventure is released for the Xbox 360 in North America, Europe, and Australia.
- 2021 — Issue #44 of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series by IDW Publishing is released in North America.
