ProSonic

ProSonic is an a platform game engine with the same capabilities as the engine built into Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The engine has not been formally released onto the Web yet but is gradually being developed; over time, the features necessary for Sonic gameplay are being added.

• License: In the future, Saxman plans to release ProSonic as open-source software[3] but wants to charge a fee for commercial use[4]; one might guess that perhaps the fee will only be charged to distributors of modified closed-source derivative works.
