Sonic Project

Information here may change if there are updates to the project.

Sonic Project was started in 2007, however it was canceled due to a lack in knowledge of GML. The project was planned to be an engine clone, specifically from Sonic CD and Knuckle's Chaotix. The music was started before everything else there had to be done for the project(and was immediately discarded). DreamW4ker started quick, inserting samples from artists like Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal into Ice Cap Zone's music. He also found a connection to Hall & Oates's "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" and the boss theme for Sonic CD[PAL] and tried to use samples from it. After the soundtrack was discarded, the project was suspended, and DreamW4ker stopped visiting Sonic Retro.

Several months later, he made a few scripts for his currently "untitled" project and started on it again, still planning on having it be a commercial game. He also started a new non-commercial project and called it "Sonic Project". After re downloading all of the resources he had before, he logged onto Sonic Retro, went to the edit tab and wrote everything you just read above(and soon below). Sobbing, he looked at the progress made on the community project, and decided to make this "Sonic Project" worth playing, maybe even worth interest...
