I wanted to note a few additional changes I observed, so that someone can verify/confirm:
- In LBZ, characters look up when riding the spinning yellow cups (but not down, probably because the characters wouldn't be visible when ducking inside the cup).
- In DEZ act 2, when characters enter the vertical, gravity-altering transport tubes, they either duck or look up while spinning, depending on which direction they about to travel (down or up).
- In FBZ act 2, during the Barrier Eggman fight, the large, roof-mounted laser can actually be destroyed (finally) if the player is able to strike it enough times (I did it using Hyper Sonic), resulting in the sub-boss being defeated without having to wait for it to destroy itself. I wasn't counting (because I wasn't expecting to actually defeat the boss this way), so I don't know how many hits it takes.
- In DEZ act 2, when fighting the Kyodai Eggman Robo, its fingers no longer rise up slightly before smashing the ground.
- Sound effects have been added in many places where there were none before, reusing existing sounds. Some examples:
- Kyodai Eggman Robo has sounds added for when its chest opens and closes and when the player character strikes the Robo's nose to open the hatch.
- The Final Weapon's turrets now make noise when firing.
- The metallic orbs attached to Ribots now make a sound when they strike the ground.
