| − | It all started when the [http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_Hacking_Contest Sonic Hacking Contest 2016] was first announced. Unlimited had seen SomecallmeJohnny's streams of the previous hacking contests, so he decided that this time he would make a hack for the contest. After looking around at Sonic Retro, he found [info.sonicretro.org/SonED SonED1]. Seeing how according to the wiki page for [http://info.sonicretro.org/SonED2 SonEd2] it's "for more advanced stuff", Unlimited decided to use SonED1 instead. After multiple failed projects, he came up with the idea of making a Chemical Plant level with "open" level layouts. So, this led into the development of [http://sonicresearch.org/community/index.php?threads/sonic-2-but-with-more-level-design-v1-00.4439/ Sonic 2 But With More Level Design] (Bad name, I know). After failing at getting validated at Sonic Retro, Unlimited went to SSRG to show off his hack. As soon as he got approved, he posted his hack, to which he got mostly negative responses. After that, Unlimited decided to restart development of S2BWMLD, and he moved the project to a split disassembly, only for the project to mess up on him multiple times. So, he cancelled the project, and tried coming up with more ideas.

| − | First off, there was a badly made Jimmy Neutron in Sonic 1 hack, which didn't get very far before Unlimited cancelled it (though a [http://sonicresearch.org/community/index.php?posts/63191/ screenshot] ended up getting posted at SSRG's screenshot/movie thread). Then, he came up with the idea of a Sonic 2 hack with pinball like levels, similar to Sonic Spinball. Then, Unlimited Trees came up with one last project: [https://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=35872 Pepsi in Sonic 1]. He eventually got into Sonic Retro, and posted a demo of the game. Eventually, 1 more demo popped up, as well as a demo for the [https://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_Amateur_Games_Expo Sonic Amateur Games Expo] 2016 came out. He didn't receive much positive reviews, and he got shat on for shitting on everyone else's stuff.

| − | Eventually, November came, and the Contest Week for the Hacking Contest finally begun. His hacks didn't get received very well, however Pepsi in Sonic 1 actually won the Lava Reef Trophy for best level layouts in a hack submitted. After celebrating the next following week, on November 19th he finally got out of Limbo and became a trialist again. The next day, he posted a review of some of the hacks in the contest, and people actually liked his post.

A Sonic-inspired project which has been stuck in development hell for a long time.

A parody hack of other hacks. A demo appeared at SAGE 2016, and a full game is coming to the Hacking Contest this year!
After getting shit for his hacks in 2016's contest, Unlimited decided to make a hack which he plans to be the best hack he's ever done. At the moment development is just starting, so it's kind of a rough start.
